A new chapter in spiritual education began on January 22, 2024, with the launch of a Bible school through a collaborative effort between PCMI Adelina and PCMI Langkiwa. This program is designed to provide comprehensive education and training in Christian theology, with the goal of deepening participants' faith and enhancing their understanding of the Bible.
The Bible school is led by Bishop Arnaldo “Andy” Padollina, a respected leader in the Christian community, who is joined by a team of esteemed pastors, including Pastor Lauro “Larry” Aliluran, Pastor Roger Malimata, and Pastor Mc Larnel “Mc” Aliluran. Together, these leaders bring a wealth of experience and wisdom to the program, ensuring that the curriculum is both theologically rich and practically relevant.
The Bible school sessions are held every Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, immediately following the morning worship service. This convenient timing allows participants to engage in in-depth study and reflection while still prioritizing their Sunday worship experience.
The 2024 cohort of students, known as the "Truth-seekers," is made up of individuals from various ministries, including Youth, Young Adults, Men's, and Women's Ministries. This diverse group reflects a strong commitment to spiritual growth and discipleship, united in their shared journey of faith.
Bishop Andy emphasized the Bible school’s purpose: to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary for living out their Christian faith and to help mold the next generation of leaders and pastors. Students in the "Truth-seekers" batch are already diving deep into theological discussions, with the curriculum featuring reporting on various theological topics and surprise quizzes designed to test their understanding and reinforce learning.
Throughout the program, students engage in a variety of activities that foster both academic and spiritual growth. These include interactive Q&A sessions, impromptu explanations, mock sermons, exams on completed topics, and open discussions. The combination of structured lessons and spontaneous exercises encourages a dynamic and participatory learning environment.
As the Bible school begins its inaugural session, participants are embarking on a meaningful exploration of Christian theology, personal discipleship, and leadership development. This marks the beginning of an exciting new initiative that will undoubtedly shape the future of the church and its leaders.
