The beginning of a new year is an opportunity to set the tone for what’s ahead. As we walk into 2025, let’s embrace the power of declarations. They are more than words; they are proclamations of faith and trust in God.
Our church holds on to Psalm 91 as our declaration—reminding us of God’s protection, provision, and faithfulness. Just as the psalmist declares, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust,” we too can speak life and truth over our journeys this year.
Faith is believing what we don’t yet see but confidently trusting God. As Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Here are some declarations from our brothers and sisters in Christ that you can also hold on to for the year 2025:
To be honest, I hope to be in a place I can’t stop thinking about. Yet, I trust God to lead me to somewhere I need more than I want. - Sis. Karylle Capunitan
To keep trusting the Lord in the uncertainties of life because no matter the outcome is, may it be painful or joyful, it is for my good and His glory. #ConfidenceInGod’sPlan - Sis. Tet Assen
To see myself the way Jesus sees me: whole, loved, and set apart for His glory! - Sis. Yvonne Aliluran
Ako ay nagpapasalamat sa presensya ng Panginoon sa aking buhay at hindi ipagwalang bahala ang mga kabutihan Niya. Nais kong pahalagahan at ingatan sa aking puso ang dulot niyang kabutihan. - Pastor Larry Aliluran
To keep asking the Lord to shape me according to His will.
I surrender everything to God, studies, health, financial, and leading. And I trust that God will lead me and guide me this 2025.
Let God be God in my life. It's no longer about me. In every decision I make, I must consult Him first, and if it's not what He wants, then I don't want it either.
I declare to be used fully by God whether in areas that I am not familiar with or out of my comfort zone.
With God’s strength, I will overcome challenges, achieve my goals, and become a vessel of His light and love.
Your declarations don’t have to be perfect. It should just be rooted in Him. They’re a way to speak hope, faith, and confidence in God’s plan for your life.
So, what’s your declaration for 2025? Write it down, pray over it, and let it guide you throughout the year. Share it with someone—it might inspire them to make their own!
