Daily Dose of Grace

Grace sometimes looks like a friend who randomly says, “I miss you”, a stranger who lets you come first in a line, a lost item you thought was gone forever, a newly discovered cafe, or a random song on Spotify.
It is a little sprinkle of joy in our daily lives, a way for God to show that he sees, and he cares. It's a quiet moment of peace, a sense of hope in simple pleasures in life.
It's true that grace means receiving something we don't deserve, like eternal life through Jesus' sacrifice. But grace isn't just for the “afterlife”. God wants us to feel that it is a present in the now that feels like a warm hug. It is experiencing forgiveness from people we’ve hurt, getting a nice job, scoring a good house, and just even having ice cream on a sunny day.
So the next time you find yourself feeling down, take a moment to look for grace. It might be as a good meal, a beautiful sunset, or a random act of kindness.
Grace is all around us, waiting to be discovered.
